"I am so happy with my experience with Pins and Needles Hedgehogs! I am a first time hedgehog owner and Sarah, was beyond helpful with any questions I had about the care for him. I love that the hedgies are raised around children and handled very often, making for a friendly and loving pet since I also have kids. When I picked my hedgehog up, I was given a very detailed folder with how to care for my new pet, a snuggle sack, and a bag of food to use until he was transitioned to my choice. My hedgehog Hendrix was shy at first and wanted to huff up anytime Id hold him, but as Sarah explained, keep handling them! Now a month later, he is very outgoing and loves to explore and munch on meal worms! "I purchased my hedgehog on the first of July (2014) and within the first week, my hedgehog warmed right up to me. She is very sweet and it was important that she was from a nice home and they hand-raised her from the very beginning so since the start, she was very friendly. I named her Gunter, she has easily taken the hearts of my family members. I have her out a lot, sometimes i'll just lay on my floor and read and she will just find someplace under my sweaters to hide and lay there for awhile. Overall, i'm very happy to have Gunter. "Hi! Recently I brought home our prickly new family member. We named him murry. I cannot believe i never thought of getting a hedgehog before. He is so sweet and adorable. I mean who couldn't love those ears? And the way he smacks his little lips when we feed him a meal worm. It makes me smile every time! I'm so glad I went through pins and needles too! ".. I had a quick moment to share a great experience with an awesome breeder. I wanted a hedgehog for about two years, after reading and narrowing it down I found Sarah. Sarah was very helpful and informative. I got my hedgehog Kiwi Quilliamson 11/2 and at first he was sad to leave Sarah, but now he loves his home I would, and have recommend Pins & Needles to anyone. Kiwi visited our school this week and loved it. He let some kids pet him, other than that he just really liked exploring. Thank you Sarah for all your help and for my little buddy..."

"I knew that I wanted for a hedgehog for a very long time, and I did months upon months of research about the animal and the best place to get one. I was apprehensive going anywhere for my pet, mostly because I worry about every possible thing that could wrong, but I finally decided on Pins and Needles, and I am so happy I did. From the beginning, Sarah answered every question I had in a timely manner. She took time to answer all questions and ensure I had accurate information. She made an open schedule for me to come get my hedgie, working around what was best for me, and gave adequate time for a meet and greet once I had arrived. She had boxes ready for the hedgehogs, bags of food and lotion, and snuggle sacks all ready to go. (A better value then you would get any pet store.) She took pride in her babies and willingly discussed every question that came to mind, even after my multiple over email. Her dedication to her work definitely showed through when even after every hedgehog she sold, she was still sad to say goodbye to the new Bambi and Pamela. My experience was a great one, and for someone who non stop worries about everything, I was put at ease. Her services are excellent, and she knows what she is doing. Pins and Needles takes the time needed for customer service, leaving me completely satisfied with the whole experience, beginning to end. I've only had my hedgehog a few days, but she brings a new joy to my life. This was all made possible thanks to a courageous woman and some plucky hedgehogs. A big thank you to Sarah for my new pet! "For my 17th birthday my parents told me I could get a new pet to add to the family. When I finally did all my research I decided on a little hedgie. After reading all of the horror reviews of people who gotten their hedgie from a pet store I was very concered about getting one from there so my parents and I decided to go ahead and get one from a breeder to be safe. After all they are the real experts. And Sarah from Pins and Needles hedgehogs defiently proved that to be true. I was very nervous at first to be going to someones house but she was very nice and welcoming. She allowed me to hold a couple of the babies and go over care tips to make sure that I was really up to the task of caring for a hedgie.It was clear that the hedgies lived in a good, loving home. That same day I put $25 down to reserve a spot on the waiting list. A few weeks into the wait I was begining to get impatient and anxious I begin to wonder if should've gone to a pet store instead. But after all the wait was up and I finally was able to get my little hedgie I realized it was so worth the wait! When I came over to get my hedgie he was very sweet and curled right up in my jacket and went to bed. We both got a little laugh out of it. It was super cute! Sarah let me pick out a snuggle bag to take him home in and gave me some food, treats and a care guide to help me along. My little Zevran is doing very well so far and is very sweet and the cutest little hedgie around! I will defiently be putting my name on the list again and getting another one from Pins and Needles hedgehogs soon!

"My family and I have been thinking of getting a pet hedgehog for years & after visiting pet stores to ask questions, hadn't felt comfortable making a decision. The pet stores did not seem knowledgeable about hedgehogs or what they need. My husband found Pins & Needles on the internet and called right away to see if we could come visit and find out more information about them. We were welcomed right in, allowed to hold some babies & had all of our questions answered. We felt that Pins & Needles really cares about their hedgehogs and were very helpful. We loved how they not only told us about every thing we would need, but offered to purchase everything for pick up of our upcoming new pet. "I recently adopted a cute little hedgie, Harvey (formerly known as fortune cookie). He is so sweet and he’s just adorable. I highly recommend pins and needles if you are looking for a new pokey friend. I love that they are handled as soon as they can be handled. I didn’t have to worry about him being mean. He’s sweet and healthy. I like that you get a birth certificate for them as well. I love the cage set up. It comes with everything I need to keep my hedgie happy. Sarah gives you the time you need when you come get them, she answers all of the questions you may have. It’s comforting having someone so knowledgeable about the pet you are purchasing, rather than going to a pet store with someone who’s unsure. I cannot say enough good things about pins and needles except that I am so thrilled with Harvey, that we are coming back for another.
